Cheap Eats & Student Fuel

• The Döner Kebab: Berlin is the world capital of Döner. Mustafa’s is the famous one, but any neighborhood spot will give you a massive, delicious meal for €6–7.


• Burgermeister: Located in a converted 19th-century public toilet under the train tracks.It’s a cult favorite for cheap, amazing burgers.


• Mensas: If you can get into a university cafeteria (Mensa), you can eat a full hot meal for €3–4.

 

Entertainment & Nightlife

• Mauerpark (Sunday): The massive flea market and “Bearpit Karaoke” where thousands of people watch strangers sing.


• Techno Culture: Berlin is home to the world’s best clubs like Berghain (hard to get in) and Tresor. Expect to dance until 10 AM.Hikes & Outdoors


• Tempelhofer Feld: A former airport that is now a massive public park. You can walk, bike, or skate down the actual runways.


• Grunewald: A huge forest on the edge of the city with lakes you can swim in during the summer.
